Adding a Record Profile

To add a Record Profile from the Unit Panel or from the Web Interface, see the sections below.

Unit Panel

1. From the Home menu, click on >  .

2. Tap .

3. Tap the Profile Name field.

4. Use the keyboard to enter the new profile name.

5. Tap to confirm.

6. Tap the File Format field and select Transport Stream or MP4 format.

7. Tap to configure the Record Profile settings:

   • Video Settings (Encoder Type, Bitrate). When recording, the video is encoded in CBR mode using the source resolution.

   • Audio Settings (Encoder Type, Channel Layout, Bitrate)

8. Tap to save the new Record Profile settings.

Web Interface

1. In the sidebar, click Streaming > Record.

2. Click the Add Profile button. The Add Record Profile dialog opens:

   

3. Enter a profile name in the Profile Name field.

4. Choose the File Format (Transport Stream or MP4).

5. Choose the video Encoder Type.

6. Set the video Bitrate.

7. Select the audio Channel Layout.

8. Set the total audio Bitrate.

9. Click the Add button.
