You can lock/unlock a field unit from the Manager interface. Please refer to the Manager User Guide for the procedure to follow.
After the field unit is locked, you cannot:

Add/delete/modify Destination profiles

Add/delete/modify Live profiles

Add/delete/modify Record profiles
-
Add/delete/modify BGAN profiles
-
Change/select a new Destination profile
-
Import/export a configuration in the unit
-
Restore the factory settings
-
Upgrade the Firmware
Note
The unit remains locked if:
-
The connection to the Manager is lost
-
The unit is rebooted
-
The unit is powered off/on
