Enabling / Disabling AES encryption

You can decide to encrypt a video during a Live operation, provided the destination server's license includes this option.

You can enable and disable the video AES encryption from the Unit Panel or the Web Interface.

Unit Panel

  1. From the Home menu, tap AR_settings.png AR_profiles_destination.png .

  2. Tap AR_arrow_down_thin.png until the profile concerned is displayed.

  3. Tap the destination profile.

  4. Tap AR_arrow_down_thin.png and select ADVANCED +.

  5. Tap AR_arrow_down_thin.png to display the AES Encryption option.

  6. Tap _avi_Unit_Slider_Off.png to enable it, or _avi_Unit_Slider_On.png to disable it. If enabled, enter the AES key as defined in the destination server interface (please refer to the Manager and StreamHub User Guides).

Web Interface

  1. Click Streaming > Destination.

  2. Click AR_more_options.png > Edit on the Destination Profile where the video is sent to.

  3. In the Advanced section, click on the toggle button to enable AES encryption.

  4. Enter an AES Key if required.
