Enabling / Disabling AES encryption

You can decide to encrypt a video during a Live operation, provided the destination server's license includes this option.

You can enable and disable the video AES encryption from the Unit Panel or the Web Interface.

Unit Panel
  1. From the Home menu, tap AR_settings.png >  AR_profiles_destination.png .

  2. Tap AR_arrow_down_thin.png until the profile concerned is displayed.

  3. Tap the destination profile.

  4. Tap AR_arrow_down_thin.png and select ADVANCED +.

  5. Tap AR_arrow_down_thin.png to display the AES Encryption option.

  6. Tap the toggle button to enable or disable it. If enabled, enter the AES key as defined in the destination server interface (please refer to the Server User Guide).

Web Interface
  1. In the sidebar, click Streaming.

  2. Click the Destination tab.

  3. Click the  AR_more_options.png icon on the Destination Profile you wish to edit.

  4. Click Edit.

  5. Under Advanced, click the toggle to enable or disable the AES Encryption function. If enabled, enter the AES key as defined in the destination server interface (please refer to the Server User Guide).
