Managing the Account Locking Policy

You can disable this locking policy, or modify the number of attempts before locking the account. By default, the application is set to lock an account when the user has entered six (6) consecutive wrong passwords to sign in to the StreamHub web interface.

To manage the account locking policy:

  1. In the menu bar, click on Settings.
  2. In the sidebar, click on Security.
  3. Click on Advanced tab.
  4. Check the Accounts locking box to enable the locking function.
  5. Modify the Max attempts value for the number of failed attempts authorized before the account is locked.
  6. Click the Save button.
