Resource Appliance as Machine Type

A Resource Appliance defines the capabilities of the Resource Manager. Resource appliances may be added at any stage of operation.

After selecting Resource Appliance as the machine type and clicking Next, you have the option to specify the type of resource appliance to be added. Select from four resource appliances: Alpha FX, CineLink Service and Device Service.

Because a resource appliance is a machine type with additional subcategories, the topic appears both here and as its own category under the configuration page.
