Using a Workflow

You can publish a video asset from the LightFlow portal by choosing Use a Vod Workflow from the Create a new asset menu in the Assets Monitoring section:

In order to use workflows for processing videos, you must first configure the Components to be used by that workflow.

On the Create a new asset page, select the Workflow to be applied, enter the Input path (URL) of the source video, then click Publish! to activate the workflow.

Under Asset Metadata you can assign a name, description and other metadata to the output.

Click Developer Mode to view or modify the associated JSON:

You can monitor the status of the workflow on the Assets Monitoring page of the LightFlow portal.
