HLS Live Preview

Once an HLS output has been configured, Administrators can view a live preview of any HLS media stream running through their Kraken device. 

Note

Kraken Video Preview via HLS is intended for operational confidence in media and not for wider distribution with user management in Kraken.

To view the HLS Preview:

1. Open the Stream List View and locate the panel of the HLS stream you would like to preview. 
2. Ensure that the stream is started. If the stream is not currently running, select Start from the Actions drop-down list. 
3. Once the stream is started, click the stream's output in the Outputs field. 
4. The preview opens in a new player window, as in the example below:
