Transcoders List View

The Transcoders List view displays a summary of defined transcoders for Kraken, including the Name, Resolution, Video Bitrate, Group of Pictures (GOP) size, Audio enable setting, and State for each transcoder. It also provides an option for you to delete transcoders.

To open the Transcoders List View:

1. Click Streaming on the sidebar, and select the Transcoders tab.
   The Transcoders List View opens, as shown in the following example.
   
2. From here you can perform the following tasks: 
   
   • To add a transcoder, click the Add Transcoder button. See Adding New Transcoders. 
   • To filter the transcoder list view by status, click Active, Alert, or Inactive in the status filter bar.
   • To modify the sort order, click the Sort dropdown menu. The default is set to sort by Name, in Ascending order. 
   • To search for specific transcoders, click the Search icon 

     

      and type in key words to identify the transcoder. If no related transcoder is found, the search page will return No Search Results. 
   • To view transcoder parameters, click the Settings icon

     

     on the transcoder panel. See Configuring Transcoder Parameters. 
   • To view the transcoder's corresponding stream name(s) and status(es), click the Streams icon

     

     on the transcoder panel.
   • To delete one or multiple transcoder(s), check the checkbox(es) of the transcoders you want to delete, and click the Delete button at the top of the list.
3. To apply any changes made to the transcoder parameters, be sure to click Apply.
