This section describes how to access and sign up for Play Pro in order to get started viewing and managing video content.
Upon opening Play Pro for the first time, you are directed to the launch screen, as shown below.
Signing Up for Play Pro
To sign up for a free Play Pro account:
On the launch screen, tap the right arrow icon to get started.
If you do not have a Play Pro account, sign up using your email or Apple, Google or Office 365 account.
Check your email for the link to activate your account.
Switch back to the Play Pro app.
Choose the role that best describes you and (optionally) check the box if you would like to receive exclusive Haivision information by email.
Tap the icon to continue.
Look through the introduction to familiarize yourself with Play Pro. This introduction can be accessed again later at any time from the Browser.
Tap the icon once you're ready to get started.
After signing in to Play Pro, you are directed to the main screen. From here, you can view the system browser, play an SRT stream using QuickPlay, or configure HMP or local lineup services.
Signing In to HMP
To sign in directly to Haivision Media Platform (HMP) without creating a Play Pro account:
On the launch screen, tap the right arrow icon to get started.
Tap Click here to Sign In to HMP.
Enter your HMP's URL and tap Next.
Enter a Nickname and select an icon to identify your HMP, then tap Save.
Enter your Username and Password for HMP and tap Sign In.
After signing in to HMP, you are taken to the Browser.
