If Haivision Media Platform is connected to an LDAP or Active Directory server, the users and groups lists are populated with information from the directory server. In an LDAP/AD environment, you cannot add or modify users or groups directly from HMP.

LDAP and Active Directory are used for authentication purposes only. No HMP data is stored or changed on these systems.
