Due to the upgrade to the HMG/HSG operating system, the hash function used for pairing with HMP has changed from SHA-1 to SHA-512. Therefore, ensure the major versions of both your HMP and Gateways are the same. Due to the upgrade to the HMG/HSG operating system, changed implementation for U.S. Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) Publication 140-2 and high-security (STIG) environments. (The STIG enable button was removed.) Please contact your Haivision Support representative to enable FIPS and STIG in your installation.

Due to the upgrade to the HMG/HSG operating system, MongoDB 5.0+ requires CPU support for AVX and AVX2 instructions. Therefore, ensure your virtual machine's CPU supports those instructions. For example, the following is sample output after issuing the lscpu | grep avx command that confirms support:

Due to the upgrade to the HMG/HSG OS and OpenSSL 3, any PKCS#12-formatted certificates generated with an older OpenSSL version must be converted before they can be added to HMG/HSG 4.0+.(tick)(tick)
