Step 8: Verification and Reboot

To complete the hardening procedure, you should run through the checklist in Appendix A (see Appendix A: Hardening Checklist). 

If all has been properly configured, reboot the Makito X Series. This will take approximately 5 minutes.
On reboot, a self-test is automatically started.

If the self-test completes with no errors, and if all items in the checklist (including post-reboot items) have been verified, then you have successfully brought the encoder or decoder to its hardened state.
