Time Settings

The Time settings page allows you to view and configure the time source, current time, and time zone for the STB. You can also configure Network Time Protocol (NTP) support to synchronize the set-top box clock with the selected time zone.

Important

The correct date and time must be set before the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) will work.

To specify the Time settings:

1. Using the remote control, press the arrow buttons to scroll to Time.
2. Press the Right arrow to enter the Time settings page.

3. Select the Time Source as either Network Time to specify an NTP server or Local System Time to manually enter the time:

   Network Time

   • Specify the Continent/Ocean and Time Zone using the arrow keys.

   • For NTP Server Address Type, select FQDN to specify a hostname, or IP to specify an IP address.

   Local System Time

   • Specify the Date, Time, Continent/Ocean, and Time Zone using the arrow keys and on-screen keyboard or connected USB keyboard.
4. When complete, select  Save .
