Power Button

After plugging in the power input on the rear of the STB, the device powers on. You do not need to press the Power button.

With the STB on:

• When you press the Power button, the device goes into standby mode. Press another time to power it back on.
• Pressing and holding the Power button for 3 seconds hard-powers off the unit. Press another time to power it back on.

Note

After powering on, if the Haivision Play Set-Top Box is joined to an HMP server, it opens in full-screen mode to the default channel (if configured). Otherwise, it opens to the VOD Library. If the STB is not joined to an HMP server or if the network is down, it opens to the STB Settings application.
