Set-Top Box-HMP Integration

Haivision Play 1000 Set-Top Box downloads system files and gets streams from the Haivision Media Platform (HMP) IP video system. Management is done via the HMP Web interface (Manage Devices module). Local control is via Infrared (IR) remote control.

Haivision Play 1000 Set-Top Box video sources include Makito X H.264 encoders, classic Makito HD encoders, and/or Torpedo DVB to IP Gateways.

Note

Haivision Play 1000 Set-Top Box must be registered as a device in the HMP domain, which is accomplished from the STB Settings application (using the remote control). For details, see Joining the Set-Top Box to an HMP Server.
