Install the Makito FX DP Encoder

1. Unpack the box and visually inspect the package contents for any evidence of shipping damage. 

   

   Tip

   See the Important Notice postcard in the box for list of contents.

2. Install the Makito FX DP as a desktop unit on a flat, well-ventilated surface.

3. If you choose to install the Makito FX DP on a rack, please note that the maximum certified rack-mount height is 2 meters (78.7"). 

   

   Note

   To mount the MFX DP on a standard 22.86cm (19") rack, use either a single left bracket or single right bracket. The unit is lightweight and does not require brackets on both sides.
