Disconnects when the Encoder has Low Bandwidth

  • Check your aggregate outbound streaming bitrate using the meters at the top of the KB’s Channel Control Center.

  • Dedicate sufficient bandwidth to the encoder and ensure it is stable. Dedicate 2x the total amount of simultaneous streaming bitrates to account for occasional spikes.

  • Free outgoing bandwidth.

  • Simplify channel configurations to stream less data (less outputs and/or lower encoding bitrate).
