Haivision Hub Release 1.10.125 – May 11th, 2021
Component Versions
Hub: 1.10.125
Hub API: 1.0.52
Admin App: 1.0.7
This latest release to Haivision Hub provides a fix to support routes with RTMP input hublets (both consumer/publisher mode) as well as RTT and Akamai hublets. This latest release also includes:
- Support for the Makito X/X4 Encoders:
- Pairing of Makito X/X4 encoders with Hub for device control and status monitoring.
- Streaming from Makito X/X4 encoders to Hub routing workflows through the Makito Hublet.
- Preset creation for Makito X/X4 video and audio encoders to streamline configuration in routing workflows.
- Release of the Real-Time transcoder (RTT) Process Hublet.
- Introduction of new route orchestrator and infrastructure components allowing for significantly reduced and more predictable route start times. NOTE: Existing customers will be contacted by support prior to enabling the new components.
Bug Fixes
- Editing of Akamai and RTT Hublet Presets no longer requires updating of the routes in which the preset is used.
- Minor UI updates and bug fixing, including:
- Makito Preset Creator: "Partitioning" checkbox now remains selected.
- RTT Processing Hublet: 50 fps is now available for preset.
- Makito Hublet: Field naming is now consistent with the Preset Creator.
- Preset Creator: Partitioning and Intra Refresh are no longer "disabled" after saving a preset with both enabled.
Known Limitations
- When performing bulk operations on routes, some of the status update messages may be missed.
- RTT presets can be deleted only if not in use.
- Makito preset creator: Entropy Coding (CAVLC) & Partitioning and Intra Refresh (disabled) revert to default value.
- Makito preset creator: Intra-Refresh with I-frame GOP is available, but not a valid configuration for Makito X/X4 devices. Configuring this combination will cause the route to fail to provision.
- Opening the same route with a Makito Hublet on multiple browser tabs simultaneously makes the telemetry being displayed intermittent.
- Bulk actions on notifications have been disabled due to an issue that has been detected. These will be re-enabled in an upcoming release.
- Notifications are sent to every user in the active Hub subscription only.
The message, "Page cannot be found", is displayed briefly when an Admin approves a new user joining the Hub subscription.
RTP FEC-specific telemetry is not supported.
RTP status is not correctly updated to reflect streaming status.
TS over UDP Hublets report status connected irrespective of the input signal.
Routes in Stopping/Incomplete state can only be stopped individually.
Instant bitrate displayed in the topology view is not accurate for internal connections.
- Connection state for internal connections is not correctly updated when there is no input signal.
- SRT output Hublet connection state does not return to connecting when there is no input signal.
- Subscription selector for admins – number of routes is not updated.
API Release: 1.0.52.0
