Due to the upgrade to the HMP OS, the hash function used for pairing with HMG has changed from SHA-1 to SHA-512. Therefore, ensure the major versions of both your HMP and Gateways are the same. For instance, if your HMP is at version 4.0+, your Media Gateways must also be at version 4.0.1+.
Due to the upgrade to the HMP OS, changed the implementation for U.S. Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) Publication 140-2 and high-security (STIG) environments. (The STIG enable button was removed.) Most of the policies included in these standards are enabled by default. Please contact your Haivision Support representative to enable full FIPS and/or STIG support in your 4.0+ installation.
Due to the upgrade to the HMP OS and OpenSSL 3, any PKCS#12-formatted certificates generated with an older OpenSSL version must be converted before they can be added to HMP 4.0+. |
