Uninstalling Matrox Software

Before updating the Matrox software, you must uninstall the current version. To uninstall the current version of Matrox software:

1. In Windows, click the Start button and open Settings.
2. Go to Apps & Features.
   

   

   
   
   
3. Find MrtSetup.
   

   

   
   
   

4. Click MrtSetup to see the currently installed Matrox software version (in red in the image above). 

   

   Note

   This is not the card firmware version. To find the card firmware version, see Updating Matrox Firmware.

5. Click Uninstall.
   

   

   
   
   
6. When prompted to restart the system, click No to manually restart the system later.
   

   

   
   
   
7. Still in Apps & Features, locate Matrox Driver Uninstaller.
   

   

   
   
   
8. Click Uninstall.
9. When prompted to restart the system, click Continue working.
   

   

   
   
   
10. Still in Apps & Features, locate Matrox PowerDesk.
    

    

    
    
    
11. Click Uninstall.
12. Once finished, restart the system.
