Welcome to the documentation for Haivision® Connect DVR™, your cloud-based video content player that delivers your content to the right audience at the right time.
The Haivision Connect DVR Display Engine is an important component of the multi‐site solution that enables you to stream time‐shifted video from an originating site to remote venues using low‐cost public internet connections and DVR streaming servers. The Haivision Connect DVR service can also accommodate synchronized dual stream play‐out, preserving the large‐scale theatrical experience (IMAG) from the main site to the remote venue with perfect synchronization.

With the Connect DVR 4.5 release, you can:
Convert your CDVR SDI device into a sleek portable solution for remote venues. Lose the PC! Armed with just a monitor, mouse, and a keyboard; the Local Management feature enables you to configure the device via the Console UI and set up video playback via the Web UI locally to the device.
Utilize the new Closed Caption Support to include a subtitle track that is displayed as closed caption text during ConnectDVR playback for an improved customer experience.
Simplify deployment of multiple CDVR devices across several campuses with the same channel configuration file using our new Export/Import feature.
Streamline support interactions for CDVR SDI appliances under an active Managed Services contract. The Remote Assistance feature provides remote access tools for better diagnostics, remote control, and management.
Take advantage of the Enhanced DNS Handling that gracefully enables a consistent stream – even in the most challenging network configurations.
