_Enabling and Disabling the WiFi Access Point

To enable or disable the WiFi access point (WiFi AP):

1. Go to the 

   

    icon in the top right corner and select Administration.
2. In the sidebar (Configuration section), select WiFi AP.

3. In the main pane, slide the WiFi AP switch to ON (or OFF as appropriate).

   

   Note

   By default, the Service Set Identifier (SSID) is "Haivision" followed by a product identifier and a random number. To avoid future support issues, make note of this number and safeguard it before changing the identifier.

4. In the main pane, click the SSID field and enter your desired identifier (up to 32 characters).

5. Press the Save Settings button when finished.
