Locking a Field Unit from Manager Interface

You can lock / unlock a field unit from the Manager interface. Please refer to the Manager User Guide to get the procedure to follow.

After the field unit is locked, you cannot:

  • Add/delete/modify Destination profiles
  • Add/delete/modify Live profiles
  • Add/delete/modify Record profiles
  • Add/delete/modify BGAN profiles
  • Change/select a new Destination profile
  • Import/export a configuration in the unit
  • Restore the factory settings
  • Upgrade the Firmware


The unit remains locked if:

  • The connection to the Manager is lost
  • The unit is rebooted
  • The unit is powered off/on
JavaScript errors detected
