Using the Default Configuration

The default configuration for the Ethernet interfaces of the server is:

• Interface 1 (LAN1): DHCP
  You can connect the Ethernet interface 1 of the server directly to a 1Gb router with a DHCP Server using an Ethernet cable (RJ45).
• Interface 2 (LAN 2): static
  Its default IP address is 10.5.1.2
  
  

Once the server has an IP address, you can connect it to a router or firewall and configure the network settings.
