A Destination Profile is a set of parameters allowing the unit to connect to a StreamHub, a Manager or a SRT Receiver.
Prerequisites
StreamHub is a web-based platform that recieves, decodes, records and distributes video and audio feeds.
Manager is a web-based platform that monitors and manage a contribution ecosystem. It is in charge of routing dynamically transmitters to appropriate StreamHub.
You can create a destination profile either from the Unit Panel or from the unit Web interface.
From the Unit Panel
From the Home menu, click on .
Turn the wheel to select and press it to confirm.
Press the wheel again to create a new destination profile.
Press the wheel to enter the Profile Name field.
Turn and press the wheel to select characters and compose a name.
Click on to confirm the new Destination Profile name.
Use the wheel to select the type of destination.
Use the wheel to configure the destination profile settings:
For a StreamHub
StreamHub IP address or Hostname
Input assignment on the StreamHub (Automatic Assignment possible)
Auto-connect function (Enabling/Disabling). This connection cannot be established through a BGAN terminal.
Port used By default: 7900
Username. By default: aviwest
Password. By default: safestreams
AES key if required
For Manager
Manager IP address or Hostname
Auto-connect function (Enabling / Disabling). This connection cannot be established through a BGAN terminal.
Port used. By default: 9000
Username. By default: username
Password (if required). By default: password
For a SRT Receiver
SRT mode (Caller or Listener)
Host
SRT port
Ethernet port
Latency
SRT Encryption (and passphrase if enabled)
Stream ID (in Caller mode only)
From the Web Interface
Click on Settings > Destination.
Click the button.
Enter a Name for the Profile.
Select the type of Destination Profile (StreamHub, Manager, or SRT Receiver). For a StreamHub
