Run-Down or Planning Mode
The management of missions can be done either in a run-down or planning mode.
Run-down mode: All missions are included within a single xml/json file. Only the most recent file is kept and managed.
Planning mode: The planning mode allows parsing the input xml file(s) (1 file per mission) by extracting and checking some fields to build a mission object, resulting to a "planning.json" internal file.
Manager analyses each mission for each field unit. Only its missions for the day are submitted.
Note
Please note that Manager server's time is the reference.
By default, Manager is configured to operate in Run-down mode.
To set a story centric workflow in planning mode:
Click on Settings > General menu.
Select Planning mode.
Define the deadline time to include the previous day's missions.
Note
Enable / disable the possibility to choose an unexpected mission on the field unit. You can customize the name of this unexpected mission.
