Error Messages


MessageMeaning / Solution
No more user session available. Please close a few sessions before logging in again.The maximum number of connected user session is reached. The maximum number is fixed to 50.
A field unit cannot connect to the Manager
Field Unit message:  
Connection to server failed  
Or 
Authentication Failed 

The field unit can no longer connect to the Manager. There are two potential solutions:

  • The username and password set in the Manager profile configured on the field unit are incorrect: edit the Manager profile on the field unit to set the username and password of a group of the Manager. To check the username and password of a group, see and clicking on Save.  
  • If the AES is activated on the field unit and on the Manager, check that the passphrase set on the field unit is correct 
    (please refer to the dedicated guide). 
The Manager cannot connect a field unit to a receiver’s input
No receiver registered Register at least one receiver to the Manager. 
No online receiver Enable at least one receiver or check the receiver connection. 
As no booking is found, Live on [field unit identifier] ([Product name]) requires at least one receiver within the group [name]. Configure at least one receiver in the same group as the field unit. 
Forward action on [field unit identifier] ([Product name]) requires at least one receiver within the group [name]. All the inputs belonging to the group are already online, reserved for live transmissions coming from other field units. 
Invalid input linked to the locked output for [field unit identifier] ([Product name]). The receiver’s output is locked on an input. 
The Manager can’t change this output setting as the receiver version is anterior to 3.3.3. 
Input reserved for [field unit identifier] (Product name) is busy. 

The input reserved for the live transmissions coming from this field unit is busy (another field unit is connected to the input–direct connection between the field unit and the receiver-). There are two potential solutions:

  • disconnect the field unit connected to the reserved input,
  • cancel the reservation for this field unit (and reserve another output for this field unit). 
Receiver of input reserved for [field unit identifier] (Field Unit’s Product Name) is disabled. 

The receiver to which belongs the reserved input for the live transmissions coming from this field unit is disabled. There are two potential solutions:

  • enable the receiver (from the Maintenance tab of the Manager),
  • cancel the reservation for this field unit (and reserve an output of another receiver for this field unit). 
Receiver of input reserved for [field unit identifier] (Field Unit’s Product Name) is offline. 

The receiver to which belongs the reserved input for the live transmissions coming from this field unit is offline. There are two potential solutions:

  • verify the receiver connection settings  
  • cancel the reservation for this field unit (and reserve an output of another receiver for this field unit). 
Input not available for [field unit identifier] 

No input available on this receiver. 

I case you need to contact Haivision support team, make sure to provide them with all information that might be useful: the issue you are dealing with, the public IP address, the firmware version, the ISO version, the hardware ID....
