Changing a Field Unit’s Group

The administrator, and users with the "Field unit management" permission who can manage several groups, can change the group of any offline or online field unit.

This operation cannot be performed while a Live, Forward or Record is in progress.

Caution

When changing the group of a field unit on which a booking is set cancels automatically the booking without any warning.

To change a field unit's group:

  1. On the Manager interface, go to the Maintenance tab .
  2. Search the field unit.
  3. Click the 
    icon. A new window opens.
  4. Select another Group from the dropdown list.
  5. Click on Save.

The online field unit is immediately included in the new group.

Following this operation, we recommend editing the Manager profile from the field unit interface with the credentials of the new group that you have selected.

Note

It is also possible to change the field unit's group from the field unit panel.
