personality

The personality command is used to manage the Makito XR (Ruggedized) encoder “personality” by providing a means to set the XR personality to either the two-port variant (#S-292E-X2R) or the four-port variant (#S-292E-X4R).

For details on the Makito XR encoder, please refer to the Makito XR (Ruggedized) Installation Guide (available from the Download Center on the Haivision Support Portal). The change of personality takes effect after the next reboot of the unit.

Note

This command may only be used on a Makito XR encoder by an administrator. XR personalities do not change due to a factory reset.

personality get

Action	Description
set	Sets the Makito XR (Ruggedized) encoder personality.
get	Displays the current Makito XR encoder personality.

Parameters
