Default Decoder IP Address
Note
If you haven't changed the factory presets, and if not specified elsewhere in the shipment, the decoder's IP Address is set by default to: 10.5.1.2.
To be able to sign in to the Makito X decoder Web interface, your computer has to be in the same IP Address range (subnet).
You may have to temporarily change your computer's IP Address to be in the same subnet as the decoder. Only then you will be able to access the decoder and change the decoder's IP Address, and then afterwards change your computer's IP Address back.
Tip
After you change the decoder IP Address, be sure to document it somewhere or label the chassis. Otherwise if you do not know the current IP Address, you will need to reset the Makito to its factory settings, which will return the unit to the default IP address (and you will lose any saved configurations and settings).
