Up to 32 channels of embedded audio per blade, in (stereo) 16 channel pairs. The channel pair sources are: sdi1ch1&2, sdi1ch3&4, sdi1ch5&6 … sdi1ch15&16 sdi2ch1&2, sdi2ch3&4, sdi2ch5&6 … sdi2ch15&16 sdi3ch1&2, sdi3ch3&4, sdi3ch5&6 … sdi3ch15&16 sdi4ch1&2, sdi4ch3&4, sdi4ch5&6 … sdi4ch15&16 Note When in mono mode, each audio encoder can only encode one left or right channel. In this case, only 16 mono channels can be encoded.

SMPTE ST 2110-30		Audio transport, based on AES67. AES67 uses IEEE 1588-2008 Precision Time Protocol (PTPv2) for clock synchronization. PTP provides global microsecond accuracy timing of all essences. Synchronization is based on SMPTE 2059.
SMPTE ST 2110-10 PTP		System architecture and synchronization: Individual audio, video and ancillary data tracks or clips are carried as separate individual streams, referred to as "essences".
