Forwarding Files

The

 Forward screen allows you to upload files from your device to a connected receiver.

To forward files:

  1. Go to the
     Forward screen. Photo albums on your device are displayed.
  2. Tap an album and select the file(s) you wish to forward. You can select images and videos.

  3. Tap Actions to open the actions menu.

  4. (Optional) Tap Edit Metadata to edit the File Name and (for videos only) add Keywords and a Description. When finished making changes, tap Save Metadata.

  5. In the actions menu, tap Forward. You can view the progress of your forwarded file(s) in the Queue tab.

    Note

    When viewing the forwarding queue:

    • Tap the thumbnail of a file to preview it. A white icon in the corner of the thumbnail indicates the most recently previewed file.
    • You can pause, resume and remove files in transit.
    • To cancel forwarding, select the items to cancel, open the actions menu, and tap Remove From Queue.

    You can safely leave the Forward screen and file forwarding will continue.

    Note

    On the

     Forward screen icon:

    • A number indicates the number of files pending and forwarding is in progress, as shown in the following example:

    • A pause symbol indicates that there are files pending but forwarding has been paused, as shown in the following example:

    After a file has been successfully forwarded, a

    icon displays in the corner of the thumbnail, as shown in the following example:
