Watch Folders

LightFlow supports watch folders that can be associated with workflows. Any time source content is placed in the watch folder, the workflow is automatically triggered.

To configure a Watch folder, click Create new on the Watch Folders page:

You must have already created the folder to be used in a storage repository accessible by LightFlow.

On the Watch Folder creation page, make sure Enabled is toggled to ON, and enter the following information:

• Name: The name of the Watch folder
• VOD Workflow: The workflow to use to publish assets found in this Watch Folder
• Path to watch: The path of the input storage that will be polled for new content
• Path on success: The directory where LightFlow should move the input video when an asset is published successfully
• Path on failure: The directory where LightFlow should move the input video when an asset could not be published
• Output path: Location where the processed asset will be uploaded
