Changing Your Password


For security purposes, be sure to change the default password!

Users assigned either  Operator or Viewer roles can change their passwords from the Accounts page, as described in this section. This is useful when logging into a Kraken on which the factory defaults have not been changed.


Administrative users may also change their passwords from the Accounts page. For the privileges assigned to accounts, see Role-based Authorization.

To change your password:

  1. To navigate to the Accounts page, click Security on the sidebar, and select the Accounts tab.
  2. On the Operator or User's Account page, click the Settings icon 
    on the available account. 

  3. Type your current password in the Current Password field
  4. Type your new password in the New Password field.
  5. Confirm your new password by typing it into the Confirm Password field. Note that passwords are case sensitive.
  6. Click Apply.
    The new password will take effect immediately.


Be sure to write down the new password.
