Deployment Options

Kraken is a software-based solution designed to take advantage of Intel QSV and NVIDIA GPU hardware acceleration in order to maximize performance on a variety of platforms. It is available as a rack-mount server, small form factor appliance, or as a virtual machine instance. When installed on third-party hardware as a virtual machine, Kraken can encode from 3G-SDI video inputs using SDI-SFP gateway connectors.
