Enabling/Disabling Master Control

By default, Master Control is enabled on all appliances for which Master Control is supported (see Supported Appliances and Versions for details). Disabling Master Control on an appliance temporarily excludes it from automatic assignment. The appliance disconnects from Hub 360 but remains registered in the Hub 360 database.

To enable or disable Hub control on an appliance:

  1. Click Appliances in the sidebar.
  2. Click the checkbox next to each appliance you wish to enable or disable Hub control.
  3. Click the Actions button.
  4. Select Enable Master Control or Disable Master Control.
    • If you chose Disable Master Control, click the Disable button to confirm your choice.

When Master Control is disabled for an appliance, that current status information is still updated in the Appliances screen and a "Disabled in Master Control" status message appears in the listing:
