The latest Haivision Video Cloud (HVC) release is in response to Adobe ending support for Flash Player on December 31, 2020. The VCMS service of Haivision Video Cloud that was predicated on Flash technology, has been replaced with an HTML5 interface. Beginning December 15, 2020 you can use the new HTML5 console interface at cloud2.haivision.com. The updated interface moves the VCMS navigation from the previous blade/panels to a navigation menu on the left sidebar. The sidebar includes a Haivision menu option that provides access to key workflow options including:
- The Premium Analytics powered by Youbora (formerly under Reports > Youbora).
- The HVC Player Generator (formerly under Players > Player Generator).
- The Publish Status menu option shows the status of Haivision Publishing jobs. Haivision Publishing jobs are those that use the recently added Haivision Publishing Ingest profile (now the default) to transcode VOD files faster and more reliably.
