Testing the SSO Configuration

To test the single-sign on configuration, make sure you are completely logged out of the AD FS environment, and then do the following:

1. Open a browser window and enter the URL for your HMP server.
2. You should be re-directed to the AD FS login page. The example below shows the custom login screen used at Haivision:
   

   

   
   
3. Using a SAML tracer, you can observe the transaction between HMP and the AD FS server:
   

   

4. Sign in with your AD login credentials. You should be re-directed and logged into HMP with the Portal page displayed. Again, using a SAML tracer, you can observe the transaction between HMP and the AD FS server:
