Connect Fails to Stream to Facebook Connection

Problem Description

Connect fails to stream to a Facebook Connection because Connect was not given sufficient permissions when the Connection was created.


To fix this, the necessary permissions must be enabled on the connected Facebook account.

To edit Facebook permissions:

  1. In Facebook, go to Settings & Privacy.
  2. Under Settings, select Business Integrations.
  3. Next to Haivision Connect Cloud, click View and edit.
  4. Review the following diagram to determine if any permissions need to be edited. Sections in RED are required. Sections in GREEN are optional based on user preference.
  5. Click Save to save your changes.
