Certificate Requirements

Ensure the following requirements are met when updating the Transport Layer Security (TLS) certificate for Command 360:

• Hostnames of all servers need to be included in the TLS certificate. Hostnames are included automatically when generating the Certificate Signing Request (CSR), and cannot be removed.

• If using the Change URL function in the Utilities application, the FQDN of each server in the environment needs to be included in the SAN fields. See the following example of a required SAN entry based on an appliance’s hostname and desired URL.

Tip

Example:

• Appliance hostname: hvn-avp-001

• Desired URL: https://hvn-avp.001.haivision.com

• Required SAN entry: hvn-avp.001.haivision.com

• The default CSR subject line does not need to be changed.
