How to create a Macrium Backup

This topic describes the process for creating a Macrium backup restore point. This should be performed for each appliance in an environment prior to upgrading the Command 360 version.

To create a Macrium backup:

1. Open Macrium Reflect.
   

   

2. Click Create an Image.

3. Under Folder, Select the backup drive parition location.

4. Under Backup Name, Use the trip identified (Install/Commissioning/Upgrade/Support) the date.

5. Click Next.
   

   

6. Click Next through the next window.
   

   

7. Click Finish
   

   

8. Uncheck the save backup as XML Option, Click Okay.
   

   

9. Macrium will now create a backup, this may take up to 20 mins.
