Play 1000 STB Important Notice

Your Haivision Play 1000 Set-Top Box must be registered as a device in the Haivision Media Platform (HMP) domain. This is done from the set-top box using the STB Settings application.

Please refer to the Haivision Play 1000 Set-Top Box Quick Start Guide for the steps to set up, register, and configure your set-top box. For detailed information, refer to the Haivision Play 1000 Set-Top Box Administrator's Guide.

Important

For HDMI output, be sure to connect the HDMI cable and turn on the monitor before connecting the power supply to the set-top box.

Note

You must either set the device local system time or provide an NTP address to use network time. The correct date and time must be set before the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) works. Also, DHCP is enabled by default. These changes are done using the STB Settings application.

Contents of this package

The set-top box package includes the following components:

• 1 - Haivision Play 1000 Set-Top Box player
• 1 - Power supply unit and power cord 
• 1 - HDMI cable
• 1 - Composite A/V cable
• 1 - Infrared (IR) remote control (two AAA batteries included)
• 1 - WiFi antenna (attached)

Note

Ethernet and additional A/V cables are not included and must be purchased separately.
